Embark on a beautiful 6.2-mile out-and-back trail near Blairsden-Graeagle, California. This moderately challenging route takes you through lush forests and alpine meadows, offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s a popular trail for backpacking, camping, and fishing, but you can still find solitude, especially during early mornings or late afternoons. Along the way, you’ll pass Grass Lake, Rock Lake, and ultimately reach the pristine Jamison Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters—a perfect spot for a refreshing swim on a hot summer day.
